As Software application engineer, you will be part of the control systems team, Integrated Solutions division, delivering controls systems and software solutions to the new sales and aftermarket business.
As a Software application engineer, you are responsible for developing new or adapting existing software for our control system contracts and development projects. Your main task is to work with Touch Screen Graphical Interface for our applications in Java / NetBeans. Development and adaptation of other application software, which takes place at block level in AutoCAD, will also be part of your work.
In this position, you will work in close collaboration with Contract managers, Application engineers, suppliers and our customers. Your focus will be to customize software according to individual customer requirements and provide technical support to our sale and service organizations when necessary.
Qualifications and experience
We prefer that you have a BSc degree in electrical engineering and/or equal work experience with development of graphical programming and software design. If you have worked with electrical design and automation systems, we see as meritorious. You should be fluent in English since we are a company with colleagues and customers globally.
