You will be an important part of our team, driving an innovative journey developing future radiation therapy devices. This position is a part of Elekta’s strategic expansion at our head office in Stockholm, Sweden.
What You’ll Do at Elekta
As a software architect, you will have the overall technical responsible for one or more subsystems. Interaction will also be of importance and you will work closely together with developers, fellow architects, and system engineers throughout the organization.
You will be part of a team developing advanced treatment delivery solutions for our future radiation therapy devices. This team will develop the “glue” that creates complete workflows. The team will be familiar with microservices, advanced algorithms as well as UI.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Within the subsystem(s) responsible for
System decomposition
Non-functional requirements based on product requirements
Risk analysis
Definition of quality criteria
Software engineering deliverables
Roadmaps, develop product and technical roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders and engineering peers.
Integration plans development and realization in collaboration with system integration colleagues within the organization.
The Right Stuff
To be a suitable candidate for this position we believe you have
Master’s degree within Computer Science, Engineering Physics, or equivalent.
Technical leadership experience within complex product development.
Thorough experience within areas such as
Domain Driven Design
.Net Core
Advanced Message Queueing Protocols and preferably RabbitMQ
REST API
Web-based Applications
Microservices
Docker / Kubernetes
Azure DevOps
HTML5
Git
Experience of working in a regulated industry, the medical sector will be considered as a plus.
Good communication skills in English (verbal and written). Ability to speak and present publicly.
