We are now looking for an experienced Application Software Architect to join our team. We are looking for somebody with the experience and confidence to make intuitive high-level decisions for software development. The architect will help create a framework for success in software design and implementation, and help guide the development team.

We hope you have some combination of the following skills:
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, software engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level
• Expert knowledge of C/C++, Matlab/Simulink, and RTOS (real-time operating system)
• Experience in Embedded software development for vehicle/powertrain applications, including relevant standards and CAN bus communication
• Analytical skills, especially in the field of functional safety and safety-critical systems
• Experience in an Agile development environment and experience using tools such as JIRA and GIT.
Key Responsibilities
Here at Charging Controls, we are working with the vehicle-side charging functions in the application software. A high-performance, adaptable and reliable charging experience is important to our customers, and the needs are evolving at a rapid pace. It is strategically significant for Scania to be able to meet and exceed our customer's expectations in this field.
• Collaborating with other professionals to determine high level functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
• Developing onboard application software for charging and related services
• Oversee progress of the development team and provide technical guidance to developers and engineers
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
• Facilitating communication between Product Managers, Programmers, and Engineers.
