At Design and Cloud Environment (DAC) our vision is to improve everyday life for DNEW developers.
The scope of DAC is to develop and provide an easy use, end to end development environment and cloud environment. DAC aims to provide a secure cloud and development environment, offering modern on-demand services to help DNEW scale and grow, to create and manage the DNEW production Design & Cloud environments utilizing modular design. With help of Analytics our services provide timely and relevant feedback.
DAC consist of two areas: Design Environment and Cloud Environment.
Design Environment is focusing on the software design tools and software development environment setup, operation and maintenance. Design Environment is also responsible for the product Linux used in DNEW Radio and Digital units.

We are now looking for a SW Architect to work with Design Environment area in the Production Architecture Program!
You will actively contribute to the evolution of the Design Environment in the Production System.

You will
Secure that proposed new solutions fit with existing Development Unit (DU) Strategies and Roadmap.
Look forward for new technologies used on the market that could be implemented to improve area operation efficiency along with the strategy.
Keep up to date with markets, technology and research.
Contribute in the Internal Requirement Area Cloud Inner Loop (iRA CIL) System Leadership Team meeting forums.
Supply Community with packaged information about proposals and ideas to get high quality in the discussions.
Help our customers picking the correct solutions from our portfolio based on their use case/needs.
Propose changes to target designs, solution designs for features.
Actively participate in the Roadmap planning discussions together with Operative Product Owners, Area Product Owners, Product Area Guardians.
Give technical input related to prioritization and planning of items.
Prepare the proposal for the priorities to the quarter planning.


To be successful in the role you must have
Bachelor/Master´s degree in Computer Science or similar
At least 5-10 years of software development experience preferably with software development tools and environment like IDEs, build tools etc.
