Software Architect to 4C Strategies

We are strengthening our development team with a new colleague in the role as Software Architect. We are on a mission to build a safer society and are looking for talented and passionate people to join our global team. If you are an experienced developer and architect with Java knowledge and a communicative and strategic mindset, then you are the right person for our team!

YOUR ROLE

You will impact the development and architecture of our software and be part of our technical long-term vision. You will help to lead the overall system design based on an integrated, streaming and microservices architecture and participate and support in the development process. You are also expected to be a technical advisor internally and towards our partners and customers, where you will share your knowledge and technical expertise, to contribute to success in our client projects.

This is an opportunity to be part of an international team of developers designing and creating large scale service oriented and distributed applications for supporting training and exercise management worldwide for the military, emergency, government and private sectors. Our product Exonaut® is a market-leading readiness management software platform, comprising fully integrated solutions for Risk, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Compliance, Training and Exercises.

YOU ARE

We expect you to have an academic background and many years of experience working in developing, designing and architecture of software solutions. You also need to have experience from Java programming and preferably from building large enterprise software systems. Examples of techniques that we use are Java, TypeScript, Kafka, Microservices, Spring, Docker, DevOps etc. Good knowledge in English is required and preferably also in Swedish.

You have great analytical and communication skills. You are self-driven, take responsibility and like new challenges. Your mindset is flexible and you easily adapt to new circumstances. You are devoted to creating great software but also to do it while having fun with the team.
