Sandvik IT's IT Asset Support and Control function works toward the management and control of IT Assets within the global Sandvik business, and is currently looking for a Software Asset Manager.

IT Asset Support and Control is an evolving team, where the Software Asset Manager will play an important part in shaping the function, and will have a visible impact within the larger global IT organization.
The position is placed in Stockholm or Sandviken.
Key performance areas
Working with the IT Asset Manager and License Coordinators, the Software Asset Manager acts as the primary point of expertise regarding the management of Software Assets throughout their lifecycle ? ensuring that Software Assets are properly managed with respect to risk, cost, governance and compliance.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in IT, or equivalent experience, and three years' exposure to enterprise IT environments and working with Software License Management within a large enterprise to articulate a SAM strategy based on ITIL/ISO 19770 concepts. Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are a prerequisite for the position, and knowledge of Swedish is an advantage. You also need to have knowledge of SAM tools (e.g. Snow, SCCM).
Your analytical skills and structured approach help with high-level process design and abstract work. However, you also enjoy utilizing your subject matter expertise by taking the lead in high-impact operational activities like external audits. You have the ability to transform your vision to reality by developing supporting roadmaps and processes.
