We´re now looking for a Software Asset Manager to join our team of Service Support – a key role in supporting all the business areas in their mission to develop digital working methods successfully. We welcome you to an exciting role with the opportunity to create your own success!
Your mission
In this position, you’re responsible for securing the administration of Software Asset information. You create and analyze software deployments, report license inventory, complete software compliance assessments for software products. You need to maintain the day-to-day records and databases responsible for containing information pertaining to the Sandvik’s software assets.
Also included in your mission is:
Facilitating the business and service managers and purchasing sourcing needs for ongoing technical support.
Ensure software maintenance, support and upgrade protection renewals are managed, handled and ordered in advance of their expiration.
Identifying savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services.
Supporting Snow operations – like license and agreement registration, compliance reporting, facilitate SMs with the Snow questions and support agent roll out.
Responding to requests from end users, managers, developers, and team members for specific IT Software Asset Management data information.
Supporting external Audits and initiative like software clean-up activity and cost optimization.
Hands on Experience in Administration of IBM ILMT Tool, agent Deployment and configuring Big Fix/ILMT Tool in Client Environment
Your character
We’re looking for someone with preferably a degree in IT or Business Management, or equal knowledge gained from previous work experience. You also have a few years of experience within Software Asset Management. You need knowledge in Snow Software and ILMT Tool, and if you have certification in Snow Software it’s a plus. As we act on a global scene, fluency in verbal and written English is a requirement.

You’re structured, want to keep your tasks in order and you take personal responsibility for fulfilling your commitments. Also, your key to success in this position is your ability to solve problems, stay calm and stable while focus on the right things in challenging situations.
