Our Exciting Opportunity!
As Chief Architect (CA) of the Software Delivery Pipeline (SWDP) in PDU BSS, you will be a member of the PDG Platform Leadership Team.
As a senior technical leader, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong ability to innovate, collaborate, communicate and be problem solver in a highly fast-paced global organization.
The Chief Architect should maintain an Implementation Architecture describing the as-is architecture and based on the direction architecture, create and maintain the corresponding SWDP decided architecture.
Based on the SWDP decided architecture, the chief architects should support each product in the BSS portfolio how, or to what level, to reach the decided architecture.
The CA is the owners of the SWDP Technical Governance, cross the BSS portfolio. This includes a close cooperation with all the e2e stakeholders, especially Service delivery, to ensure we establish a pipeline all the way to the customer.
To be successful in the role:
You are driven by passion and seeks high personal development; willing to groom into this role.
You have a Master or Bachelor’s degree related to Software Engineering or similar experience.
Proven ability to drive team engagements and act in a time sensitive environment.
Strong skills in verbal and written communication (English) and making people work together cross products and teams, as well as strong change management capabilities and experiences.
Great abilities to present and adapt presentations to the intended audience, e.g. bridge and adapt technical insights from within the project to senior management.
Meriting also if you have experiences from multi-cultural and distributed development.
Qualifications:
You have knowledge and experience in software development using pipeline flows for build, package, deploy and test
You have knowledge about pipeline orchestration technologies such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitLab, Ansible
You understand the main principles of containerization and cloud technology and their impact on development principles
You have knowledge in cloud and containerization techniques such as Docker, Kubernetes
It is meriting to have experience in software development environment and tools like Git, Gerrit, Artifactory, Maven, Sonar
It is a bonus to have knowledge in software programming languages or scripting, like Java and Python
