Software Design Engineer

You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Tasks
As programmer at the MACH Platform Development within HVDC, you will participate in the entire development and maintenance process ? from pilot study and design to testing and integration. You will work closely with the delivery projects and get access to a abroad network consisting of internal as well as external contacts. In collaboration with skilled colleagues you will develop and maintain the MACH platform. You will develop your competence in programming by both taking part of, and contribute to, our broad knowledge pool. Requirements
You have a High School or Bachelor?s degree in Engineering with a major in programming. Good knowledge in C, C++ and software development is a requirement for success. Experience from real-time programming, embedded systems and data communication it is positive. Perhaps you also have experience from:

? HiDraw
? Software tests
? Unit tests
? UML
? TFS
? SCRUM
? CMMI

Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must whereas skills in additional languages are positive. On a personal level you are result oriented, driven and distinguish yourself with very good team working skills.
