Shape your journey onboard and offshore with us
We are looking for an experienced embedded software developer who is passionate about creating high-performance and innovative information solutions for MacGregor world leading shipboard cranes. As a software designer, you will be part of the R&D team and your role will include development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, software design, verification and support.
Key accountabilities:
Working in all product development phases from pre-study to end of life:
System Design.
Develop and maintain software components.
Simulation, scripting and tool automation for software verification.

Cooperation with other disciplines, such as:
Electrical and hydraulic Design.
R&D-testing.
Sourcing and supply chain.

Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
What do we expect from you?
To be successful in this position, we believe you have the following background:
Master's or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Software engineering.
Good knowledge about C/C++.
Experience of Linux,QT,#C and .NET is an advantage.
Experienced with embedded systems and agile development.
Passionate about coding and software development.
Flexible and problem solving with analytical qualities.
Adapt easily to new techniques and keen to increase knowledge.
As the position will have many internal and external contacts, good communication skills and proficient of spoken and written English is important.
