Software Developer

The MemoryLane project at Centre for Distance-spanning Healthcare (CDH) aims to create and validate with users a tool for capturing the life story of persons with mild dementia - including context - and make it available for later context-dependent retrieval.A first prototype shall be developed by the technical team, for demonstrations and tests with users.



Work to be performed: Specification and development of client software for mobile devices and personal computers.Technical support during field test in September.

Required competences:

knowledge in system development methodologies
knowledge in technologies: GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB synchronisation of mobile devices
experience in programming using C# and Java, for Windows Mobile and Windows XP
experience from developing mobile Java clients, using the JSR-257 NFC API and multimedia APIs for capturing images, audio and video
We would like that applicants also has knowledge or experience in:

R&D project work - Programming in PHP and SQL
Software for elderly
