Software Developer

Simployer is looking for a talented software developer to help build the next generation of HR Tech solutions. You will touch everything from front-end user experience to back-end services and data stores. You will develop high-quality, maintainable and robust code. We make architecture decisions collaboratively and you will be working in a cross functional agile team of product owners, software engineers and QA's that work closely with our colleagues based in Norway, Sweden and Poland. Our current tech stack include ASP MVC, ASP .Net, .NET Core, Azure, SQL , Kafka, React, Git, Jira, Confluence (and more).
We’re represented in five cities and are in a solid financial situation, but we’re still an agile and down to earth organization where decisions are easy to make, and people care about our products.
Responsibilities
• Write code and tests to develop new software products and/or features
• Consume RESTful APIs and other services
• Willingness to learn new technologies to become proficient across our stack
• Utilize your experience by contributing towards a secure and scalable architecture
• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve business intelligence and insight into our data
• Participate in design and code reviews to drive quality
• Contribute towards common goals and strategies
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field
• Experience as a full stack software engineer, designing, implementing, and shipping cloud services or software products
• Proficient in data storage technologies including relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience working with front-end frameworks like Angular and/or React
• Experience with BI solutions, like Power BI
• Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Good understanding of security mechanisms in modern web applications
• Fluent in at least one modern programming language such as C#, Java or C++
• Experience building systems using Domain Driven Design principles
• Experience with publishing solutions with Azure or AWS
• Fluent in English, and able to communicate efficiently with teams across borders
Nice to haves
• Experience working with distributed systems, building large-scale, secure, and resilient services
• Good understanding of authentication and authorization in modern web applications using technologies like OpenID Connect, OAuth 2, SAML
• Experience with asynchronous pub-sub message bus architectures such as Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs or RabbitMQ
• Good understanding of business processes, privacy and GDPR
