The department Electrical Propulsion Systems, within the Powertrain unit, is responsible for developing high-voltage batteries, electrical machines, DC/DC converters and on-board chargers for electrical and hybrid vehicles. The department is responsible for both hardware and software development and have a close cooperation with Powertrain since the propulsion aspect of the systems is main focus. Thus, customer focus and drivability are always in focus during daily work. At the group Electrical Energy Storage Software, our software is used in both plug-in hybrid vehicles and in the coming Battery Electrical Vehicle.The software is usually developed together with a supplier who has responsibility for basic software. Currently three different projects are under development in the group, with various amount of in-house software in each project. The plan is to continuously bring more SW in-house and continue working with an agile mind-set.

As Software Developer you will, together with the rest of the team, be responsible for developing AUTOSAR compliant software within Simulink and cover the complete scope; from requirement break-down, SW development, unit testing, testing activities on target as well as documenting the product and the work. You will have lot of interaction with the supplier and also with the system integration team locally at Electrical Propulsion Systems.

Main responsibilities

* Model Development Responsibility (using Simulink)
* Requirement Traceability
* Debug, measurement and calibration capabilities in model
* MIL and SIL Unit Test (using Mx-VDev)
* Work package estimation
* Model release
* Model-SWDD
* Calibrate models

Required qualifications

* B.Sc within Electrical, Mechatronic or Computer Science Engineering
* Experience of model-based development
* Knowledge from software development process
* Experience working with MATLAB/Simulink
* Driver's license B
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Experience from AUTOSAR, Mx-VDev, Subversion, Jira, Scrum is meritorious
