Description

The Automation Solutions organisation within Tetra Pak is now looking for a Development Engineer with focus on Software Development to work in the Embedded Solution team.

The automation solution organisation is responsible for developing, roll-out and maintaining a world class automation platform used by business units and market companies in their products and deliveries. The automation platform use both external software and Tetra Pak created software.

As part of Tetra Pak automation strategy, to be world leader for food & beverage industry, we now see the need to extend the development team.


Main responsibilities

-Software development in IT/automation application area
-Distributed applications development (e.g. client/server, web app and cloud app)
-Participate in the development of technology applications, products and solutions embedded in Tetra Pak equipment and packaging line


Qualifications

As a person you are innovative and motivated, with good communication skills. You have a structured and analytical way of thinking. You are a good team player who is able to manage long term relations. You are skilled in English, both written and spoken. Wide technology know-how and skills to bring existing technology into new areas is always on your mind with an entrepreneurial spirit. You possess strong personal drive and have a very high interest in technical solutions.

A University Degree in Computer science, Automation or similar disciplines is required. We will prioritize candidates with software knowledge in the IT area (Data base, Windows application, web application, major programming languages). You have software knowledge in automation area, preferred (PLC, HMI, Scada, driver communication IO server, OPC DE/UA). Experience from working with a Product Development process is an advantage. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
