Agtira is looking for a Software Developer
Agtira is a world leader in the field of aquaponics, where we develop both cultivation methods and software support for cultivation systems for fish and vegetables in urban environments and develop our own control systems for our various cultivation solutions. Agtira control system retrieves data from sensors, user input, etc. and also uses Artificial Intelligence to optimize the operation of our systems. We are now expanding our development department and are looking for software developers / programmers of our software that are part of control systems but also peripheral software, for example. for monitoring our cultivation facilities.
Job description
Agtira is looking for a creative individual who are driven to produce software solutions at our Research & Development department. You will be part of a small but dynamic team responsible for reviewing business specifications, providing a technical design, coding, and testing of both new and existing software systems. Candidate is expected to be up-to-date with new tools/technologies, propose innovative solutions, and seek to replace manual processes with automation and maximum performance and effectiveness.
You will work in version control and development environments that can vary and the daily work is mainly about implementing and configuring systems and tools, making local adaptations and integrations, working out methods and tools and processes for software platforms. You will work closely with AI developers and other IT resources within Agtira R&D to identify needs and implement solutions by combining your programming skills to deliver high business value for Agtira. Candidate will use C #, Javascript, C ++, C, Python and various front-end frameworks and SQL databases to implement solutions which will be deployed to Kubernetes/Docker but will utilize other programming languages and technologies as needed to implement solutions and maintain existing systems.
Qualifications
- University degree in the IT field, preferably in computer or systems science or equivalent
- Worked with programming / software development in a previous role
- Good collaboration skills to create added value for your colleagues
- Good knowledge of both English and Swedish in both speech and writing
Useful skills and background
- Small and remote team experience, implementing changes within a small group of developers
- Experience with virtual and containerized environments.
