Your Future Team
In our team we are responsible for the software in our products from embedded development in the Linux kernel space and user space written in C to web development where we are using Typescript and React. In our projects we collaborate with different competence areas such as mechanics, electronics and industrial design and together we develop the complete product. The team consists of both junior and senior software engineers. We highly value team work, continuous learning and joint responsibility.

Your Role as Software Developer
We are working with products that Axis never have done before so if you have the mindset: "I have never done this before, how exciting!" Then this is the right job for you!

The main part of your time will be spent working on a Linux computer in C. The web development takes much lesser time. The fun part with the web is that we are using modern and up to date techniques so part of your job will be to make sure that we keep up with the industry and constantly evaluate and use the latest web techniques.

The responsibilities of the role include:

* Developing software both in Linux kernel space and user space using C.
* Use Git and Gerrit to version handle our C code and to review our C code.
* Develop our web using Typescript, React, Graphql.
* Use Github do version handle our web code.
* Find solutions to complex problems when developing and delivering the new features in our products.
* Writing test cases for our code in Python.

Who are you?
You can be newly graduated, or you can be experienced, the important thing is that you are driven and are "into" software development. You like to work together with other engineers as a team in an agile way of working and you like to solve problems and create new solutions.

You have an engineering bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics engineering or equivalent. If you are newly graduated it is meriting if you have used C or C++ and Linux in your education.
