About this opportunity
At Ericsson, we are creating connections that make the unimaginable possible, and we would like you to join us as a software developer.
Our vision is a world where limitless connectivity improves lives, redefines businesses and pioneers a sustainable future, and we do this by developing world class software for the mobile core network, using Erlang.
The products we develop at Ericsson Lindholmen are in the heart of the mobile network. We enable mobile connectivity by managing all the network-internal signaling needed to establish and maintain the connections our society relies on. Right now, we’re hard at work building the functionality of the 5G core networks while also improving on 4G.
What you will do
With us, you would be joining one of our ten local development teams where you and 4-5 colleagues take an end-to-end responsibility for features, including requirement analysis, system design, development, and verification according to our feature development process. You will also become part of a large international organization and collaborate with colleagues in both Europe and Asia.
You will bring
Experience of professional software product development at a large scale.
Proven skills in the Erlang language, other functional languages, or at minimum a keen interest to learn and master this.
A solid understanding of computer network communication protocols
The ability to derive, define, and analyze requirements and proposing software designs based on solid software development principles and good software craftsmanship.
A willingness to drive and work with all parts of industrial software development, including requirements, analysis, documentation, presentations, coding, and verification.
A love for teamwork and a readiness to both learn and share.
A Master’s or Bachelors degree in Computer Software Engineering or similar field
What we can offer you
Professional career development in a global software development organization with around 25 000 developers globally.
A team of close colleagues working with you to continuously improve our product as well as your own performance.
The opportunity to develop a product everybody is using and depending on daily.
A great office location at Lindholmen where we are right between the buzzing tech hub and the open views of the river.
Flexibility in working from home up to around 50% of the time. With home office and IT equipment provided by us.
A good collective agreement, personal health account, subsidized lunches, in-house gym and other benefits.
