Our Exciting Opportunity
Are you interested in a new challenge and build yourself a career within Ericsson and on the same time getting a chance to excel your personal career by getting exposure in a high-profile open-source project?

Ericsson’s Baseband Infrastructure (BBI) organization provides key products and services to all Ericsson Radio Access Baseband (BB) applications 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G. Our products include operating system libraries (kernel, boot loader, communication and observability services), a tool's suite (code editor, debugger, compiler, build system, test framework and trace functions), an integrated development environment (IDE), and a programming model tailored to the Ericsson Many Core Architecture (EMCA) hardware. BBI’s offerings are collectively referred to as the EMCA Software Development Kit (SDK).

We are currently on a mission to develop and deploy a new state of the art build and test system, based on the Bazel open-source project from Google. We optimize it for a build environment of more than 10 000 CPU cores, with caching and remote execution. We are looking for a Software Developer who will join our build development team.

As a Developer within our team, You will
Systemize, Design, Test, Deploy, Maintain, Support and Refactor code within the area of the EMCA SDK and Bazel Build & Test System in particular.
Collaborate virtually with colleagues, experts, and users in many countries.
Contribute code you write to open-source projects at GitHub.


This is you
Strong interest in graph theories, complex algorithms, and Bazel build and test tool.
You are a professional developer that masters Java and Python.
You have the reputation of being a team player.
You are eager to learn new things.

Preferred skills
Experience from Open-Source projects.
Good knowledge in GIT, Gerrit and Jenkins.
Good understanding of Linux multi-process application programming.
Good knowledge of C and C++.
Agile ways of working.


Minimum Qualifications
MSc level in Computer Science or equivalent
At least two years of industrial software development experience
Proficient in spoken and written English.
