Radio Products Sweden 1 strives to be the most driven Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We work in an agile set up to develop and maintain high-quality Radio products which give our customers solutions securing future growth. We develop 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA Network solutions to operators all over the world.
Radio Products Sweden 1 is part of the Product Development Unit (PDU) Radio, within Development Unit Networks. We work with the newest technology within telecommunication development. The work offers a rich number of opportunities in an everyday learning, creative and exciting atmosphere! Kista, Stockholm, is our base but the world is our arena.
We are looking for a Software Developer to contribute to Ericsson’s 5G successes!
The team systemizes, craft and test the software on the Radio Units and take joint responsible for all team tasks. We are working with product development in C++ and the functional testing is done in Java.
You will
Work in a cross-functional team with responsibility from pre-study to release and Customer acceptance for new functionality.
Do SW development in C++ in a complex system architecture with SW and HW components
Take in a sophisticated system as well as fix difficult problems
Work outside your own subject area
Contribute with competence in the following areas:
Software system design, Architecture principles
Test automation, preferably using Java
To be successful in the role you have
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or equivalent
1-2 years of meaningful work experience in SW development. You can be newly graduated.
Willingness to broaden your competence and get a deeper understanding of our products
Knowledge and experience in programming using object-oriented languages (C++) and Java
Knowledge on HW near programming
Competence in Linux
Familiarity with Jenkins, GIT, Eclipse, Vscode
Understanding of continuous integration, test and troubleshooting skills in the radio domain
