Join our team at the forefront of industrial automation, where innovation meets impact! As a Software Developer for Epiroc Surface Division, you'll be part of configuring the software landscape for PLCs, with a primary focus on advancing drill rig functionality - driving efficiency and performance to accelerate the transformation.

Your mission
Your main focus in this role will be to develop software for PLCs, displays, and other configurable electronic units such as engine displays and sensors. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of new functions for our drill rigs to enhance functionality, performance, and availability. Supporting system and function tests, writing test specifications and reports, and collaborating with our system engineers to design control system architecture are also key aspects of the role.

Your profile
We welcome applicants of all levels with an education and/or suitable background in software development. You should be familiar with tools like Codesys and have basic knowledge of secure programming with SIL2 and communication protocols such as CANopen, J1939, and Ethernet. Previous experience in industry automation, mobile machinery, or automotive engineering is advantageous. Fluency in English is necessary for effective communication, and basic Swedish skills are advantageous.

You should have a genuine fascination for machines and technology, coupled with excellent collaboration and communication skills. Location
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. To be considered for this role eligibility to work in Sweden is required.
