What’s in it for you?
You will be a software developer in ART Longitudinal Vehicle Controls, within the department Vehicle Energy & Motion Control. The ART is responsible for development of control algorithms ensuring the most rewarding and energy efficient longitudinal control of the vehicle. Longitudinal Vehicle Control is coordinating and controlling systems that accelerates and decelerates the vehicle, including propulsion, energy storage and brake systems. You will be a part of a scrum team doing software development and delivering software functions within the scope of the ART. With cross functional cooperation within and outside the ART we will support you to reach your full potential. Join us on this exciting journey into the future.

Your mission
We are now looking to strengthen one of our agile teams with a Software Developer with experience of C/C++ and/or Model-based design using TargetLink or Embedded Coder. You will use your skills to develop control algorithms for propulsive and brake controls, coordinating and controlling actuators within the field of Longitudinal Vehicle Control, such as electric motors, transmissions, clutches, batteries, engines and brake system in BEVs and hybrids.
You will also
* Design and implement Software according to requirements
* Document the solution and write calibration guidelines when applicable
* Design unit test cases and perform tests in virtual environments
* Test your functionality in vehicle

Who are you

You are a technical-minded team player who appreciate to work with different cultures. You have good communication skills and collaborate effortlessly. Besides being customer focused, you have a strong analytical capability, are structured and organized in your daily work. From your previous role you bring experience from software and system development, have a holistic view and great systems thinking.

To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
* Work experience in the relevant field and a Bachelor or Master in engineering.
* Experience in software development in Matlab/Simulink and/or C/C++
* Experience in unit testing in a SIL/HIL environment
* Experience from automotive software development
* Experience from scrum-based development is meritorious
* Experience from safety critical software development and ISO 26262 is meritorious
* Fluent in English, verbal and written
* Driver license (level B)
