Software Developer Body Controls

We are looking for reinforcement, primarily in Body Controls.

You will develop algorithms, software and calibration/parameter setting for body electronics system. Work includes everything from development to tests in cars and different types of rigs. The team works on embedded controls for interior and exterior body functions such as exterior light systems, window control, vehicle access systems, anti-theft etc. 

Your main work assignments include:

- Model based functional development of a Body control software
- Implementation of innovative control solutions with Matlab Simulink
- Test of development software in MIL, SIL, HIL environments as well as in-vehicle tuning at vehicle test tracks
- Customer / System Requirements Analysis
- Discussion of software control strategies and software interfaces with internal/external stakeholders/customers

 

Who are you?

You have experience developing software for Body Electronic Controllers. You have a genuine interest in control systems and you appreciate the challenges of modern embedded systems.

Good interpersonal skills are required for this role because you will interact with many parts of the T-Engineering organisation and our customers/suppliers.

You have at least a M.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics or similar.

We would also like you to have experience of Matlab/Simulink preferably for embedded controls, since we use a lot of physics based modeling/algorithm prototyping.

You need to be fluent in English both written and in speech since the work requires global contacts. There may be up to 4 business trips per year, 1-2 weeks at the time.

Experience with INCA, test systems from DSpace. Canalyzer, or Canoe is a merit.

Knowledge in functional safety (ISO 26262), system and software engineering environment and ASPICE software development base practices would be beneficial.
