Software Developer C# to Kollmorgen

We are looking for you, a Software Developer with experience in C# .NET looking for a new challenge in a global high-tech product company! We have been developing world-leading Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems for the last 50 years and we have a prosperous future ahead of us since the market growth is huge!

About the position

As a Software Developer, you will be a part of our Engineering department consisting of about 50 engineers working within embedded systems, system software as well as windows applications, and web services. SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) is the main process used for product development.

In this position you will be a part of the Tools Team, which consists of Software Developers, a System Architect, a UX Designer, a Product Owner, a Content Writer, and a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The team is responsible for developing desktop applications that are used for design and configuration of AGV systems. The spirit in the team is strong around collaboration and commitment to create value to our customers.

As a Software Developer, you will together with the team ensure the company´s competitiveness within the AGV business by developing world class desktop applications in C# .NET, including focus on user interfaces, API's, advanced algorithms in C++/C, and much more. This is an exciting time to join the team as you will have the opportunity to create the conditions for new applications/web products.

Tech Stack
Apart from what already has been mentioned above, the following technologies are used in the team: WPF (XAML), Cake, Git, GitLab, JavaScript, Winforms, JIRA

We are looking for you
.. who are an experienced developer in C# .NET and are eager to build up new domain knowledge for AGV-systems. You have high standards for code quality and are motivated by challenging tasks. It is meritorious if you have experience of taking a desktop application into the web.

Good communication skills are important since you will be working with different stakeholders taking an active role in the collaboration with the product manager, the product owner, and the system architect to refine features and architecture vision into inspiring tasks. You are a curious person who like to share your knowledge as well as learn from others. Furthermore, you need to be a true team player who enjoys working together to find great solutions for implementation.

To be successful and thrive in this role you: ️

- Are an experienced developer in C# .NET

- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

It is a plus if you have experience in:

- ASP.NET

- WPF

- C++/C

- Building pipelines, CI/CD.
