We are looking for software developers who have a curiosity and drive to join our Chromium Team in Gothenburg, Sweden. If you like complexity, this is the job for you! You will dig deep into the inner workings of Blink and Chromium, implement new web standards and tweak and optimize this massive code base to behave well on Android devices. The successful candidate will work as a senior member of the browser team, improving the Chromium integration in the Opera for Android browser.
Role & Responsibility
Work with C++ and be part of a small, but skilled team working with one of the biggest open-source projects in the world, making sure that our Opera for Android browser continues to have an awesome Chromium integration. In this role, you will work with the Chromium engineering team to support code refactoring and re-architecting activities for Chromium and Blink.
Technical Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
Extensive experience with programming languages C++ or Java
Familiarity with AOSP architecture
