Arbetsbeskrivning
D-Flow was acquired by Badger Meter Inc. in May 2017. We have since become their ultrasound development center - UIC (Ultrasonic Innovation Center). We focus on the development of new generations of ultrasonic flow meters based on the D-Flow technology concept. The development is being conducted together with the engineers in Milwaukee.
D-Flow's technology concept consists of our dedicated ASIC, our ultrasonic transducers and our technical expertise. We are located on Gammelstadsvägen 5b, close to the city center of Luleå. In addition to offices, the state-of-the-art premises also house our production of ultrasound sensors and labs. D-Flow currently has 19 employees.
About Badger Meter Inc., "Measure What Matters" - Badger Meter is a leading marketer and manufacturer of products using flow measurement and control technologies developed both internally and with other technology companies. Its products are used to measure and control the flow of liquids in a variety of applications.
We believe you have a relevant engineering degree from a university such as Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. As a person, you should be analytical and be a "problem solver" who sees correlation in results generated in connection with experimental work and evaluations. Orderly, accurate & self-propelled are good qualities to suit the service. Your ability to cooperate with the team both in Luleå and in Milwaukee is also highly valued.
As an employee, you will be part of a dedicated development team to develop software for ultrasonic flow meters and various test systems. The development work includes being involved in planning, execution and support.
The software we develop is used for various external applications and for our own internal development. For example, there may be tools that facilitate our testing and evaluation of firmware for D-Flow's own ASICs or complete measurement systems. Software that is developed will mainly be used in products that are manufactured in large numbers. This means that knowledge in test & evaluation is an advantage.
