Our Exciting Opportunity
Ericsson Packet Core are currently looking for a software developer to strengthen our team and community in one of Ericsson's industry-leading product that is a part of PDG (Product Development Group) Mobility. We use Cloud Native technologies and tools to develop our 4G and 5G products on a container-based micro-service architecture.
ADP (Application Development Platform)provides a toolbox of generic services that can be incorporated and re-used when developing new cloud-native network functions. This will lead to faster development of our new 5G functionality.
You would form a small cross-functional development team working with feature development, where tasks include requirement analysis, system design, development, and verification. As a team, you take ownership for your feature from analysis to delivery and beyond!
We use Lean and Agile ways of working and coordinate in cross-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and sharing knowledge are parts of the daily work.
You’ll be working directly with your Product Owner in a collaborative manner and continuously deliver. This requires maturity and a ‘team-first’ approach, which we believe is the best way to build excellent software.
You Will
Manage continuous Quality improvements of products and processes.
Agree with various interfaces within Ericsson, and get an opportunity to grow your Network
Develop micro-services and test high-quality products in cloud environment
Develop and improve test case automation
Collaborate and share information with the team in scrum ceremonies
Deliver results and meet customer expectations
To be successful in the role you must have
Programming skills for example Golang, Python and Java
Experience in model-driven development for configuration protocol
Containers and Virtualization knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker, Kernel-based Virtual Machine (KVM), Vmware, Helm, etc.)
Knowledge of Software craftmanship and tools e.g. GIT and Gerrit
Education: MSc in Computer Science or similar MSc level in a technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge
Innovating, adapting and responding to change skills
Passion to explore new insights and address future opportunities and improvements!
Additional Requirements
Proficiency in English
Curious personality with a holistic view. Person who loves working with exciting tasks where decisions often need to be taken based on information from different partners and investigations
Readiness to drive work tasks independently with constant communication towards your partners
