What’s in it for you?
You will be a software developer in ART Longitudinal Vehicle Controls, within the department Vehicle Energy & Motion Control. The ART is responsible for development of control algorithms for ensuring energy efficient and safe torque and power distribution, as well as balancing of attributes connected to longitudinal control. What you’ll do?
We are now looking to strengthen one of our agile teams with a Software Development Engineer with experience of Model-based design using TargetLink or Embedded Coder for implementation of software within the area of Safety Controls. The team is responsible for system safety development and related diagnostic monitoring of propulsion and brake systems. The delivery consists of software functionality that identifies inaccuracies, prevents critical events and mitigates the effect of a fault. We apply highest standard when it comes to minimising customer impact, which is why focus on robust system design is crucial. The deliveries for a software developer within team Safety Controls consists of following:
* Development and verification of software functions according to requirements
* Writing and reviewing requirements for software developed by ART LVC or our suppliers
* Document the solutions according to ISO26262
* Design, perform and analyze test cases according to ISO26262
* Secure that safety functions do not interfere with costumer experience
* Planning of your activities to meet project milestones

Do you fit the profile?
We seek someone who is open minded and curious with a good ability to cooperate. You have to be self-driven and unafraid of seeking new ways to solve problems. You have good communication skills and we assume that you communicate fluently in English (speech and writing). You are a technical-minded team player who appreciate to work with different cultures. Besides being customer focused, you have a strong analytical capability, is structured and organized in daily work. You bring experience from software and system development, have a holistic view and great systems thinking. You have 3-5 years of work experience in the relevant field and a bachelor, Master or PhD degree in engineering.
To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include
* Experience in software development in Matlab/Simulink/TargetLink/Embedded Coder.
* Experience from automotive software development
* Experience in testing in SIL environment
* Experience of system safety and monitoring methods are meritorious.
* Experience from scrum based development is meritorious
* University degree in engineering (Bachelor, Master or PhD)
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Driver license (level B)
