Are you a Software Developer with experience in Systems Engineering looking for a variated job through the product life cycle of Gripen flight simulators and training systems?
We are now expanding and looking for engaged Software Developers for real-time systems to join our team in Linköping.
Your role
As a Software Developer, you will work close with the operating systems and hardware components that are common of Saab's flight simulators, training and support systems. You will be involved throughout the entire product life cycle from concept studies, requirement analysis and development of future capabilities to maintenance.
You will be an active part of a business that develop, deliver and maintain stable and advanced computer platforms adapted for aircraft simulation to meet the users expected reliability and performance.

As part of our team and as a Software Developer for real-time systems we foresee you got experience within following areas:
- Requirement work and system design
- Documented programming experience for C and C++
- Any or several of PCI Express, CAN, MIL-STD1553 and Ethernet Controllers
- Low level software for Solaris/Linux operating system
You are analytic with a good ability to understand and solve problems. You are comfortable working in team as independent. You will work in close collaboration with other departments within Saab as well as other companies and authorities both within and without Sweden.
You have an academic degree in Computer Engineering or similar and has a solid interest within the area.
We believe you have good communicative skill, verbally and in writing both in Swedish and English.
This position involves work covered by defense security, therefore it is required that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
What you will be a part of
Aeronautics offers flight-related subsystems, unmanned aerial systems, aircraft structure and services to defense and civil aviation industries worldwide. Aeronautic is responsible for the development, production, marketing, sales and support of the Gripen.
You will be a part of the section System and Product Engineering which is responsible for the development, deployment and administration of the computer platform of the Gripen simulators, training- and support systems.
Offering a varied work that combines expertise in system design, operating systems, real-time systems, drivers, I/O-systems, networks and information security.
