Our Exciting Opportunity
We are an international agile SW development team responsible for developing automation test systems used for Ericsson Radio Verification. Together with the rest of the teams in Product Development Unit (PDU) Radio Integration and Verification, we contribute to guarding the quality of all types of Ericsson Radio products delivered worldwide. The organization is operational in multiple-sites including Kista, Ottawa, Beijing and Chengdu.
You will be one of the key contributors in helping us build the JAVA based new NGTE (Next Generation Test Environment). Your scope will include building up the architecture, test cases implementation, instrument drivers, test management etc.
The system will enable automation test of all relevant Radio verification areas (eg. RPV, EMC, environmental etc.) in line with standardized or internal specifications. As a developer you will analyze requirements, design/validate via programming, support and resolve user issues, also drive continuous improvement. The work is based in Kista but you will have the opportunity to work in other sites for a period of time.
To be successful in the role you must have
MSc. in Computer Science, Telecommunication, EE or similar
Minimum 5 years of object-oriented SW Development experience and excellent JAVA programming skills
Genuine interest in SW development and are willing to devote to this area
Self-motivation to solve problems and aim for high performance
Team mindset contributor and willingnes to contribute, share knowledge and help others drive improvements
Proficiency in both spoken and written English
Agile development knowledge
Natural interest to tackle technical challenges
Preferable qualifications
Experience in Radio Access Technology and standard (3GPP) knowledge
Good knowledge of 4G,5G, OTA testing
Experience as SW architect
Experience in JCAT / MJE
Curious disposition, appreciation for innovation and ability to see the big picture and think creatively
Background in working with RF and measurement instruments is a plus
