Software Developer to Auth at Svea

We are looking for a new Developer (a.k.a. player) to our team Auth (Authentication and Authorization), which is a part of the company’s core function, Common Services. The function is a link between business and IT and takes on the responsibility in driving the development forward. Here we develop and maintain core applications and fundamental components that are used on an enterprise-level; security, authorization, portals, data warehouse, integrations, and reporting are among the things that we’re working with.

The team within Auth builds a solution that ensures internal users and external customers with signing process and correct access within the organization, which keeps sensitive or crucial information intact.

The role as internal guardian 💂‍♀️
In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional team that delivers and support Svea with core functionality that is crucial on an Enterprise level. We develop and maintain the core authentication application based on Identity Server 4 and OAuth2. The application is developed in C#/.NET Core and supports Svea with the user and M2M authentication. Your so-called daily work will be:

- Close collaboration with internal users to understand its need and convert it to a technical solution
- Optimize the authentication and authorization applications with security protocols and keep them up to date.
- Continuously improve the authentication functionalities and user authorization permissions
- Ensuring and shipping the best possible code with the use of test-driven development approach like unit-test and test automation
- Managing the structure of the application as well as troubleshooting and taking measures to fix eventual problems.

You have a good foundation in backend development and that you have a solid interest in learning more about our business. You are a team player who thrives in cooperation and rejoices in common successes. Furthermore, you are independent, communicative, and good at collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization, and enjoy sharing your thoughts and knowledge. Your game history consists of:

️ Relevant education like computer science or equivalent work experience
️ Few years of experience in C#/.NET with some knowledge in the security area
️ Accustomed to working with agile methodologies
️ Good knowledge of software lifecycle management
️ Good sense of clean code approach
️ Fluently in English, both speech and writing

Extra points if you have experience from the FinTech industry and have been working with business-critical applications, but no requirement.
