Software developer to Checkout team at Svea

Arbetsbeskrivning

We are looking for a developer to join the Checkout team. The team develops a modern web-based payment solution for e-commerce businesses. We focus on creating a seamless customer journey and the best possible customer experience by providing a fast and modern user interface.

Why join us? 🤔
Together with us, you will be part of an exciting journey, where we shape the future of financial solutions. Being a Svea employee means a steep development curve with the opportunity to grow into, and try out, different kinds of roles and responsibilities while working in a fast-changing market.

Your colleagues and your team are always ready to lend a hand when needed, listen to your ideas, and challenge you to level up your ways of working. Except for the work in the team, we have various groups and parallel initiatives that you could join and further develop yourself. These groups give you an environment to share, develop and grow within a certain area, where you could meet fellow enthusiast people in frontend, performance, or other competence areas.

About the role 💼
You will be part of a cross-functional team that has close collaboration with other full-stack developers, QA, Tech Leads, and Product Owners in both Sweden and Serbia. You’ll work on improving the Checkout solution for our B2C and B2B customers. The team has a high standard for customer value without compromise on uptime and stability. The recipe is pair- or mob programming with a combination of strong self-discipline for quality work and an agile way of working.

Some of your daily work will be:

- Shaping the business requirements and converting them to technical solutions
- Hands-on with the whole software development from backend to frontend
- Continuously improve by creating new features or optimizing old ones to create a seamless user experience
- Develop APIs for internal and external applications

Your tools for this journey will be MSSQL, C#, .NET core/.NET 5, TypeScript, React, Azure DevOps, and Git.

Who are you? ⛹️‍♀️
You have worked with the whole product life cycle and managed to pick up good technical skills and practical business sense along the way. What keeps you going is your genuine interest in software development and belief in its real potential, but also the way to unlock it with the use of test-driven development approach. You have a can-do attitude, like to handle complex tasks, and have a natural ability to communicate technical-related matters to various stakeholders. Furthermore, you value team efforts and have a collaborative approach where your collected achievements contribute to the common goals. You also enjoy sharing your thoughts and knowledge with people around you.

Things you have obtained along your journey are:

️ Relevant education like computer science or equivalent work experience
️ A good track record of experience and knowledge in C#/.NET
️ Good understanding of full-stack development
️ Accustomed to working with agile methodologies
️ Fluently in English, both speech and writing

Extra points, if you have knowledge or strong interest in frontend development and its modern framework, and experience with test-driven development, system architecture, and design.... that’s what we call a jackpot! 🤩
