This is us, your new colleagues
We are the Electromobility & Uptime team for Wheel Loaders at Volvo Construction Equipment. Our team is based in Eskilstuna and we work with a broad range of wheel loader functions controlling, for example operator interface, loading unit, steering, propulsion request, braking, cooling, human guard, lubrication, service and maintenance.


This is how you can make a difference
You will deep dive into our tools and methods to understand and continuously improve our way of working through the entire software development cycle. From requirements and function descriptions, function development, verification and validation, deployment, maintenance and updates.
You will support your colleagues with tools and processes to improve the efficiency and quality of their work. You will collaborate with other developers, from our as well as from other departments in order to align methods and processes.


You will also be directly involved in activities such as function development, electronic system architecture development and test activity support in the evaluation of design solutions. We believe taking part in and understanding this is the key to finding the most efficient way of working with software development. We work mostly in a cross-functional and agile environment.

You have a relevant engineering degree, and you have experience in working with software development in the automotive industry.
Experience working with C/C++, Python, Simulink, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory is a plus.
