About this opportunity
We are a new product development unit at Ericsson called Cloud RAN (Radio Access Network) and our goal is to merge the latest radio access technology with the cloud.
We are developing a cloud native RAN solution including central and distributed units combined with management and orchestration.
We try to accelerate product development with new fresh thinking. We challenge established flow with new methodologies, are active in the open-source communities and embrace a start-up mentality to deliver a product with a great customer experience.
We are looking for people with an interest in software and system development, functional and system testing.
What you will do
You will be part of a team responsible for end-to-end microservice software development.
We believe in teamwork and value open communication. Our way of working is to have agile teams that together have the required knowledge to drive the software products from start to finish. All members of the team contribute with their expertise. Communication, and coordination both between team-members and teams are equally important.
You will bring
MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent level of knowledge
Programming skills in object-oriented programming languages such as C/C++. Java, Golang and Python
Experience with Cloud Native core design principles (microservices, container). Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm is an asset.
Experience of CICD Pipeline and tools like Jenkins and Spinnaker is valuable
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English
