As a Software Development Engineer, you will be part of a team of highly skilled colleagues developing an edge platform based on the latest technologies. Example of the team’s responsibilities are a web portal for managing edge devices connected to a cloud platform, but also development of edge platform services and mobile applications. The platform enables the industry to release the full potential of operational data, e.g. being able to collect, store, communicate, analyze and act quickly on data from production systems. The edge platform strives to solve the automation use cases of the future. In this role you will have a great opportunity to grow.
You will report to R&D Team Manager.


Your responsibilities
Design, develop and deploy solutions and applications for our edge platform.
Build services and/or user interfaces and solutions for distributed systems with large data volumes and low latency.
Provide wide general technical knowledge but also expertise in some specific area(s).
Follow technology trends, architecture and development practices to release high quality products.
Work together with local and global teams and actively share best practices.



Your background
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
At least five years of experience, or a strong track record from software development.
Experienced in C#.
Experience of Linux, microservices and knowledge of Azure Cloud is a strong advantage.
You are a self-driven learner and have a wide technical interest in areas such as Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, ASP.Net, Azure DevOps, React and Functional Programming.
Excellent problem solving skills, ability to work both in team and independently, ability to plan and organize the work.
You are solution-oriented, self-driven and curious.
Fluent in English.
