Software Development Engineer

Experienced Embedded Software Developer
We are looking for an Experienced Software Developer to be part of our Embedded Software team that is ready to take on a new challenge.
We value team collaboration and team autonomy. As an Experienced Software Developer within our Embedded Software team, you will be working with code design, implementation and unit testing of Linux applications in C/C++ for our telecom products. You will work with new product development along with maintenance of our current products including working on customer issues and code refactoring. You will have a tight collaboration with the QA Engineers in your team to solve complex issues. You will work together with Product Management and System Architecture to ensure your code fulfills the requirements in the best possible way. You will be part of a cross-functional, agile team where the team has the freedom to adapt to Scrum or Kanban or a variant of other agile methods depending on what the team feels is most suitable.
You recognize industry buzzwords such as WDM, coherent multiplexing, ITU-T, IEEE, SDN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, “clean code” and refactoring. You are able to support as a Mentor for more beginner Software Developers.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent education/work experience
More than 5 years’ experience of Embedded Software Development writing C/C++ code
Linux application development
Real time OS development
Linux kernel and uboot development
Experience of code design and writing testable code
Highly motivated team player
Experience working in an Agile development environment



Extra Skills:
Networking and protocols experience
Software development tools such as git, bitbucket, JIRA
Real time OS development
Linux kernel and uboot development
Experience from being a scrum-master or team-lead
