Responsibility :
* You will be part of an empowered product team that strives for continuous learning and improvement.
* You and your team are responsible for the Connected Car Cloud Platform on which application teams deploy, with the mission to create a great developer experience by providing platform products that support high performance & productivity for our software engineers. We are obsessed with understanding our customers and how we can help them to be successful and productive.
* You will collaborate with your Product Owner to ensure the right functionality is being developed and estimate the size and complexity of the work to be able to plan upcoming sprints.
You will determine and maintain the technical design in our area within the given architectural guidelines.

We believe you have at least 3 years of experience with Java development. You probably have a BSc degree or higher in computer science or equivalent.

Preferably you have experience with AWS, Java, Kubernetes, Istio, and have passion for the Infrastructure side of Cloud Development, including configuration.

Previous experience in handlig car-related information to the cloud, to cars, to mobile apps and to partners, is highly valued.

We also think you have understanding in agile development methodology principles (e.g., Scrum, Lean, Kanban) and have worked in product teams. Since Volvo Cars is a global organization, we see that you are fluent in the English language.
