Software Engineer

Job description
This position provides excellent opportunities for you to contribute to the development of next-generation vehicles. You will perform technology development in the area of embedded systems and software in the context of our future E/E systems. You will be a key player in developing software-defined transport solutions by enabling the shift from product-oriented mindset to service-oriented mindset.

You will work with development and evaluation of technologies related to engineering methods for embedded systems development, including tools and techniques for modelling, implementation, simulation, analysis and verification of embedded software and systems.

Since we cover the full spectrum of development, you have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of activities ranging from applied research and advanced engineering projects to prototype demonstration in a targeted environment for our future products and services. This requires an open mind to new technologies and concepts. At the same time, it creates opportunities for variation in challenges and assignments.

Required qualifications
MSc Degree in Computer Sciene/Electrical Engineering or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Knowledge about system and software modeling, simulation and analysis
Strong background in software development in C/Java/C++ on Windows/Linux environment
Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to communicate effectively and to establish as well as maintain networks within and outside the company in a global multi-cultural environment.

Meriting qualifications

Knowledge about system and software analysis and verification methodologies
Experience from working with embedded systems
Knowledge about embedded Linux programming
Knowledge about safety-relevant and fault-tolerant system and software design
Knowledge about cybersecurity
Knowledge about agile development principles and methodologies
