Now we are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our AXIS Companion team.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe you are a person that is passionate about programing and enjoys solving technical problems together with your colleagues, in a culture based on collaboration and shared responsibility.

You have a Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar background. You have knowledge and interest in multithreaded object oriented software development and are fluent in C#, Java or C++. You see yourself as a skilled engineer with a genuine interest in designing efficient software with usability in focus.

Experience of C#, Windows Presentation Foundation, Asynchronous Programming with async/await, RTSP or other video streaming protocols or UX is an advantage.

As a person you are a motivated, humble and open minded. Since cooperation is a crucial part of Axis' success it is important that you are a team player and contributes with good spirit to your co-workers.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
AXIS Companion is a Windows-client for viewing, recording and controlling video from connected network cameras used by AXIS customers around the world. It is a WPF Desktop Application which uses the latest and greatest features of the .NET framework.

You will be part of a great team developing the current and future versions of AXIS Companion. The work will include a wide variety of tasks to handle everything from network communication (TCP/IP), video streaming and the graphical User Interface which gives you many possibilities to find and develop your area of expertise.
