Northvolt is right now looking for an Software Engineer for battery management system (BMS) development to join our team. You will be given the opportunity to develop High Performance li-ion battery systems as well as being a part of building the first European large-scale lithium-ion battery factory.
We are searching for a software developer with experience in battery management systems. You have experience of working close to the hardware & prototypes of li-ion batteries and have great knowledge of Embedded systems, preferably from the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop the software for the battery management system for Northvolt
Produce necessary documentation especially in regards of safety, e.g. hazard analysis and FMEA
Execute engineering tasks defined within projects in order to meet schedule, budget and specifications

Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, software engineering or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience to perform at this level
Knowledge of C/C++, Matlab/Simulink and RTOS (real time operating system)
+4 years of experience in Embedded software development within battery management systems and/or charging systems
Excellent analytical skills, especially in the field of functional safety and safety critical systems
Excellent English written and oral skills
Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
