Grönska is looking for a software developer to join our team!


Grönska Stadsodling is a foodtech company that develops technology for vertical farming and operates one of Europe's largest vertical farms, located in Huddinge outside Stockholm.


At Grönska, we strive for data-driven development and continuous improvement of our products and services. Soon, Grönska will launch new products and services in vertical farming and as well as develop internal tools for controlling and monitoring of our cultivation systems.

With this expansion, Grönska is looking for a software developer to work closely with our hardware developers and develop software, web and mobile applications that can:

Monitor, automate and control our vertical farming systems
Support our logistics flows
Optimize our cultivation methods to increase resource efficiency and quality


Your responsibilities
Product owner for software, web and mobile applications
Lead and coach your team
Close collaboration with management, users, sales and production teams to understand needs and develop valuable solutions
Close collaboration with hardware developers and designers to develop new products and services as well as continuously drive improvement and further develop existing products
Define and analyze values ​​to monitor the effectiveness and quality of your solutions


Your background
Bachelors degree in IT or science
At least 3 years experience as a software developer
Problem solver
Analytical
Very good communicative ability
Experience of handling several products / services simultaneously
Speaks fluent Swedish or English

More about Grönska
Grönska Stadsodling was founded in 2016 by Robin Lee, Petter Olsson and Natalie de Brun Skantz. From the beginning, Grönska has developed its own technology for vertical farming, including LED lights and irrigation systems. Starting in Hammarbyhöjden, Grönska ran a small test farm for a couple of years, which also delivered herbs on a small scale to a grocery store in Stockholm. Today, Grönska runs one of Europe's largest vertical farms and delivers around 20 different herbs and salads daily to over 40 stores and wholesalers in the Stockholm area. In recent years, Grönska has collaborated with companies such as Espresso House, Scandinavian Airlines and Mathem. Grönska also develops technology for cultivation on a smaller scale. Our GrowOff is a cultivation cabinet with a small footprint but large capacity. In 2021, we will launch several GrowOff modules with our partner Coop.
