Software engineer

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Software Engineer to join our stellar team in Stockholm.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
This team is responsible for developing the software to control all the automated material flows in the Northvolt factories. This implies identifying material shortages on the production line and ensuring automated guided vehicles are sent with correct material, in the most optimal way, to replenish material and thereby avoid factory stravation.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Development of the system which will orchestrate the material flow in our factories.
· Expand our 3D staging environment structure and design.
· Building Three.js based visualization of the material flow in our factories.
· Work closely with material flow engineers and project managers to realize the final product.
· Enhance the users experience of our application (factory operators and managers).
· Optimize the 3D environment for standard laptop utilizing.
· Support IOS side of our application.
· React and react-native development.
· Frontend-components library development and NPM packages.

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
MSc in computer science or related field.
3+ years working experience.

· Experience with scripting, textures, 3D rendering, GUI styles.
Proficient in React and React-native.
Curious, technically educated and a critical thinker.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus, but not a requirement
