Team and role specifics 
We are rapidly growing and welcoming new colleagues with an interest to grow. You will contribute as an engineer within development of core features and automated testing supporting the overall quality. Our teams are working in many different areas from car feature development, SW build tools & CI pipelines and system analyses solving issues other teams have trouble figure out themselves. The teams are working in an agile way where they have a great independence, ownership and trust. We have a warm and relaxed atmosphere where you will be an important contributor to the team. In our teams you will become a software test engineer working and supporting through all phases of software development - design, build, test and integration. Our software will run on emulators but also actual HW rigs and finally the car itself. You will build the next generation of Volvo cars. 

You

Also, you enjoy solving problems together with your team. You can also navigate your way through ambiguous and undefined problems and can think abstractly. 

You have a MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. You are self going and experienced in the QA field with at least 3 years of experience.
* Experience in test development, test analysis and test automation with a proactive, collaborative and quality-oriented mindset. 
* Experience with deploying automated tests to Continuous Integration (CI) tool chain 
* Proficient in Python programming and C/C++. 
* Preferably experienced working with Test Frameworks such as Robot Framework, Pytest etc. 
* Experience of working with version- and revision control systems e.g. Git. 
Linux systems 

Good to Have
* Experience building up Test Infrastructure. 
* Experience with Test tool development   
* Worked with Test metrics, visualization and Test analysis 
* Worked with HIL (Hardware in a loop) rigs and automated test systems in automotive rigs. 
* Knowledge of automotive network communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, Ethernet, MOST, Flexray) 
* Experienced working with CANalyzer, CANoe or CAPL.
