SW developer /Configuration Zone Controller – Base Software – ART Core System Components
Who we are?
At the Agile Release Train Core System Components (ARTCSC), within Software & ElectronicsPlatforms, we develop the Zone Controllers for the new totally electrical platform. It’s the biggest
challenge in the new platform and we are building up a new team that shall configure the base software for the new multi functions units. The unit will include body controllers, I/O controllers,
electrical power distribution units, gateways and electrical power supply. We work with solutions from early concept to industrialization and follow-up in the field.
We are dedicated to building cross-functional and empowered teams and an agile environment. We are now looking for a talent person with Autosar experience to join our agile development teams on
their exciting journey!
The teams will configure and develop the software stack (BSW) in close cooperation with suppliers and external teams. The teams will involve in the whole chain implementation, verifying and
delivering the complete ECU for manufacturing.
What will you do?
You will use your Autosar Basic SW configuration expertise to develop a correct software stack configuration and make sure it is well integrated with the other parts of the ECUs. You will also
contribute to building an automated workflow with continuous integration and testing of new software. You will also work on fault reports and debugging the SW baselines.
You will work in close collaboration with several expert competences – both within and outside Volvo Cars. Together with ARTCSC’s own broad area of expertise, this will benefit your long-term
development and expand your knowledge within many different fields.
Who you are?
We think you are a person that would like to be part of a team that is in a start-up phase. You will be a big part of forming this team with your experience and later introduce new colleges on the way.
We think you are a self-driven team player with high ambitions and both a sense of ownership and dedication to quality in everything you do. You take a structured approach to your work.
You are open to share your work and expertise, and you are also not afraid to ask when you need their help. At the same time, you have no problem stating your own opinion and setting high standards when collaborating with e.g. suppliers. You communicate well in English and have a B.Sc. or equivalent within Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechatronics or similar area of education. An M.Sc. is
extra meritorious.
We expect you to have experience from automotive software design and development, specifically within Autosar Basic SW configuration (and from related tools - e.g. Mentor VSB). We also appreciate
background in continuous integration and automation (with tools like Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Conan, CMake), embedded software testing, automotive communication and ISO 26262.
Knowledge of Vector tools like CANoe, CANalyzer and Elektra together with Matlab/Simulink and SystemWeaver experience will be good to have as well. You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
Experience from below is considered meritorious:
Skilled in AUTOSAR, Embedded software development, Configuration management software, Software release, Python, CAN and Automotive Ethernet communications, HIL systems and real-time simulation, Continuous Integration, Verification and Development, or Platform development.
