What do we do
Android SW developer and tester to a system team (Android Automotive) 
Volvo Cars recently announced that the next generation infotainment system will be based on Android Automotive, with close collaboration with Google. We are now looking for Android developers and testers to strengthen our organization.
Developers at the Infotainment department work in one of approx. 20 agile teams divided in areas of; Android Platform, Connectivity, User interaction, Security, Android Automotive app development, and other car functions etc.
We are now building a new system team that will work with functions like stability, robustness, performance, boot times and optimization. The team will create automated testcases so that the infotainment head unit can be tested and monitored. The team will be a go-to team when it comes to questions and tasks that are of a broader character compared to a feature specific development team. The team will consist of senior developers and testers that can investigate and solve system related issues.

What will you do
Create CI test cases related to system performance, stability, and robustness.
Work with software development and investigation in the Android stack for the infotainment system.
Be a key person during larger integration events e.g. new android versions. Debug, test, and trace during integration
Synch and cooperate with partners and teams

What you´ll need
•    At least 3 years of software development (C++, C, Python, Java etc)
•    Experience in Android automotive is preferable
•    Experience in Embedded Linux Development or Android Platform Development
•    Experience in working with Continuous Integration and Automatic testing
•    Agile software development practices
•    Good English skill (written and spoken)
