Software Engineer

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

- Contribute in all areas: analyse, design, develop, test and maintain services delivered by the team.

- Proactively reduce the technical debts

- Have, and continue to gain, good knowledge of the business in the value stream

- Support the Agile Product Owner in finding a good balance between life cycle management, maintenance, regulatory compliance as well as development of new features

- Decide on how to build the solution within architecture frames

- Readiness to have on-call for the IT services developed and maintained by the CFT on agreed schedule

- Help Agile Product Owner to break down investment opportunities into MVP's and user stories in the backlog

- Detail and verify the back-log items

- Describe acceptance criteria and make sure those are understandable to the rest of the team

- Participate in quality assurance of delivered functionality together with the cross functional team

- Agree launch activities with relevant stakeholders. Support stakeholders regarding launch activities

- Help the team to deliver frequently potentially shippable products, iteratively and incrementally, maximizing opportunities for feedback and value

- Plan and estimate the work together with the team

What is needed in this role:

- Proficiency in Java development, and ideally have worked as a full stack developer.

- Experience in front end language like Angular will be a plus.

- High level understanding of application structure.

- Able to perform investigations on assigned tasks alone or in cooperation with team members.

- Able to work with previously created code.

- You have an understanding of non-functional requirements for the system, life-cycle, information security etc.
