Development engineer- Transmission Diagnostics

What’s in it for you?
The team "Transmission Diagnostics" within Vehicle Propulsion is responsible for diagnostics in transmission related ECU´s (Automatic Transmission and Shift-by-wire). We develop solutions which meet both legal requirements and have maximum robustness not causing customer disturbances. The team is involved in development of system solutions, functional design and verification in full-scale test cars. Our delivery consists of software functionality that identifies inaccuracies, prevents critical events and mitigates the effect of a fault. Your work tasks will consist of verification of transmission diagnostics and you will work with test method development and write test specifications.  Do you want to be part of the group who apply the highest standard when it comes to minimise customer impact? What you’ll do
* Verify and calibrate Transmission Diagnostics SW
* Document tests and results according to standards
* Support development and discuss with suppliers
* Participate in supplier meetings and expeditions
* Write test specifications
* Lead test and validation work independently
* Analyse data from testing
* Deliver OBD certification documentation for TCM     





Do you fit the profile?
•          Master of Science or equivalent documented education/experience.
•          Skilled engineer with several years of experience from working with calibration/verification
of OBD
•          Deep diagnostic competence within transmission area and possible fault modes
•          System safety competence
•          Knowledge within testing tools such as INCA, DSA and Canalyzer
•          Swedish driving license class B is a plus
•          Fluent in English, spoken and written
•          Ability to travel
