We are inviting a talented Senior C#.NET Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in our technical strategy and growth.
Joining the Car Service Experience Cluster within our Commercial Digital area, you'll be instrumental in delivering a personalized, seamless, and cost-effective service experience to our customers. Your role is crucial in enabling various teams across the organization to access and utilize our platform effectively. This ensures an optimal experience for both our service technicians and content creators.
As a key player in our team, you will be at the heart of developing a robust data ecosystem that integrates multiple product teams and clusters. What You’ll Do
As a key member of our team, you will be at the forefront of enhancing the experience of our content creators. Your primary focus will be on developing sophisticated backend services, utilizing REST APIs and Graph Federation. You'll employ C# and .NET as the foundational technologies for creating these services.
Your expertise will also extend to monitoring and dashboard development, where you will leverage tools like Kibana and Grafana. In deploying applications, you will navigate Kubernetes clusters, integrating modern tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jaeger, and Prometheus. 
Collaboration is at the core of what we do. You'll be working alongside other engineers within a cross-functional team, where your contributions will not only enhance our digital offerings but also drive the overall success of our projects. Your role is pivotal in shaping an innovative, efficient, and user-focused digital environment at Volvo Cars.

You and your skills
We believe that you….
- Profound experience in backend development, with a particular focus on C#.
- Comfort in working within an information platform environment that is enhanced with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud technologies.
- A deep understanding of microservices architecture and Graph Federation. If you have front-end development skills, that's a great additional asset.
- Familiarity with engineering best practices, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and scalable design.
- Proficiency in database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL systems, allowing for efficient data storage, retrieval, and management.
- Ability to embrace and advocate for engineering excellence, drive efforts towards continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and maintain high standards in code review processes.
