As a “Software Engineer and Scrum Master for Partner Connectivity via DC” you will work hands on with a complex technical landscape that needs to scale and expand due to H&M Group’s focus on growing an ecosystem – connecting our brands and partners to grow business for all parties. Growing our ecosystem is one of the top 5 focus areas for the H&M Group – which means you will be joining a fast paced and most prioritized environment! Wholesale for external brands is a new business model within H&M Group, meaning that we need you with a strong technical background and a desire to drive change in order to achieve the best solution and architecture for our brands, internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer within Partner Connectivity via DC, you will work on a functional level, a technical level and a strategic level. You will be required to understand the systems and integrations involved in the wholesale flow from our brands to our end customers. You will work with complex interactions between several internal H&M systems and external EDI providers. You will be expanding your functional knowledge from a holistic perspective, in order to connect the dots and discover improvement areas not only within our product area but within the end-to-end flow. In this task you keep a strong integration and architectural perspective and work together with Software Engineers and/or Solution Architects from other areas. Therefore, you collaborate with multiple teams to achieve the best possible solution for both our external sellers, internal stakeholders and end customers. You will also act as a Scrum Master for the team. You have a holistic mindset and are typically skilled in breaking down silos, enable collaboration and empower teams. You will also:
Take the technical responsibility for our solution to share data with our partners and H&M teams for the wholesale model
Take ownership of the integrations and enhance them and the way of working across teams / systems
Work hands on with the data integration source and target contracts supporting the business processes
Support data flow process end-to-end for our business processes supporting wholesale
Troubleshooting of data issues and solve incidents found in production
Documentation of solution and integration patterns
Make sure the process for onboarding partners and integrating partners is efficient and convenient for both H&M and the partners
Perform tests for integrated partners
Drive discussion on long term strategic technical vision for the wholesale business model
Who you are
You need to enjoy digging into the technical solution and solve the issues hands on. You also are interested in information models and information flow. We want you to be a leader to enhance the solution to make H&M the preferred partner in wholesale. E-commerce, wholesale business knowledge or working with EDI providers is a great background to thrive in this position! We believe you are ambitious and do not like to settle for the second best solution. You have strong architectural and integrations skills, with quick learning ability of new systems and solutions. You have experience of being a scrum master and you are not afraid to take the lead - you do not wait for directives. You enjoy helping others and share knowledge with your colleagues. Furthermore, you:
Have strong knowledge in creating and maintaining information models, and an optimized information architecture
Are experienced in analyzing complex information flows through several systems
Take accountability to drive & build improved solutions always keeping the stakeholders in mind
Like the challenge to convince surrounding teams to agree on enhancements
Truly enjoy working in a cross collaborative environment with multiple teams
Enjoy learning about complex systems and understanding how an entire value flow is working technically
