Position description:
We’re now looking for a SW design engineer to join the team. The role will afford opportunities to work with both Parking Assistance systems (PAS/ SAP). As a SW design engineer within the PAS/SAP engineering team you will be responsible for requirement management and owner of the SW requirement specification (SWRS) and will work closely together with an external system supplier as well as an internal verification team to align on and verify the correct implementation of SW requirements.
Main responsibilities
• Act as main contact for design level questions from supplier’s SW developers
• Lead SQuAD related activities such as SW Joint Reviews (SWJR)
• Perform SW Delivery Reviews and guide supplier SW deliveries through SW release process (CRB)
• Define signal interface and Logic Timing Constraints (LTC’s) towards Signal Database (SdB)
• Develop the diagnostic strategy and review its implementation in Carcom
Skills and required experience:
Required qualifications
• M.Sc. degree in engineering or equivalent
• +3 years experience from automotive industry
• Experience from electronics or SW development
• Excellent English skills, verbal and written
• Driver’s license
Meritorious experience
• Experience of requirements management
• Experience from electronics or SW Analysis & Verification
• Experience from Elektra, TCr, System Weaver, SDA
Personal qualities
• The desire and ambition to work within active safety and advanced supportive systems
• Self-motivated and deliver on time, on target and with quality
• Very good communication skills
