Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a large cloud architectural landscape with the latest technology to build the next generation platform for H&M Business tech? Here you will have a key role as a central expert in the cloud solution! We are looking for a software engineer / Azure cloud expert who can turn business needs into technical reality.
About the role
We are now looking for a software engineer / Azure cloud expert who will work with in our customer commerce delivery team, a business-critical area within in the customer domain of HM business Tech. As a software engineer you are responsible for the entire software life cycle – design, development, test, release and maintenance and translates business needs into working software. Regardless of area, tools or languages, a software engineer builds and configures solutions that are easy to maintain and change, enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. This is achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation. ​
We are currently building and enhancing various services for our cloud solution. These are used by our business tech product teams, ensuring that their delivery pipeline to production is as efficient as possible. This will enable fast and stable updates and functionality to roll out in fast increments in order to meet our customers’ expectations.
You will work in collaboration with a team of cloud engineers who are all building and designing the overall solution, and at times also support in tasks for the generic solution. In the daily scrum meetings, you will interact with a variety of individuals with different roles – all contributing to our high performing product team.
Your responsibilities
To be successful in this role we believe you have genuine passion for cloud solutions, way of working, automation, continuous improvements, and a strong sense of team collaboration. You will play an important role in setting the foundation and creating our future organization. Therefore, some of the responsibilities will include:
Improving the delivery pipeline, from development to production for several systems
Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solution design according to existing architecture guard rails​
Perform technical analysis of requirements and impact analysis
Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative design options which take target environment, performance security requirements and existing systems into account​
Collaborate with surrounding team(s) to fulfill the implementation
Cooperate with Infrastructure and Security architects
Knowledge transfer of solutions to the business tech teams
Have a holistic view of how the solution adds value and ties into the defined business outcomes​

Qualifications
Proven experience working with Azure Cloud solutions and Azure Devops
Proven experience working with automation and scripting
Experience working with in Agile team in a Devops setup
Background as a software developer
Understanding different architectural viewpoints to identify and understand their dependencies​
Hybris and / or AEM experience is beneficial but not mandatory
Understanding of retail and e-commerce is beneficial but not mandatory
